Terms and conditions

By booking any of our Peru tours, you agree to the following terms. We’ve designed them to be fair, transparent, and protective for both you and our team—so everyone can enjoy a safe, memorable journey through one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.

1: CONTRACT

WHEN IS MY BOOKING CONFIRMED AND WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

The booking is accepted when Get to Peru receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Get to Peru is effective and legally binding.

In order to secure the trip, we will require a 50% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.

2: PAYMENTS

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS AND DEADLINES?

• First Payment: 50% deposit by the time of booking.
• Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival.
• In the case the booking is made 45 days or less prior to arrival, the whole amount will be required at once.
• If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the full amount will be required at the time of booking.

3: CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED AND ARE THERE ANY SURCHARGES?

The first and second payment can be made using credit card. Payments made through credit card are subject to a 5% surcharge.

We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express.

4: WIRE MONEY TRANSFER US$

WHAT ARE THE DETAILS FOR WIRE TRANSFER PAYMENTS?

The first and second payment can be made using wire money transfer.

Wire money transfer should be made directly to our bank account.

Payments made via wire money transfer to our bank account in Peru are subject to a 100 USD surcharge.

Payments made by direct deposit are subject to your local bank charge.

5: CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES BY THE CLIENT (LAND PACKAGES)

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY?

Any cancellations or changes made by the client must be submitted in writing by the client at their earliest convenience.

The client is responsible for any fees or charges incurred by the cancellation.

Period before departure when written notification is received | Cancellation fee (Percentage of the total package price):
• 90 days or more: 20%
• 89 to 45 days: 40%
• 44 to 30 days: 50%
• 29 to 15 days: 60%
• 14 to 6 days: 85%
• 5 days or less: 100%

Change of dates after the deposit has been made: 5% plus any other additional fees that might occur.

Substitution of clients: If any person of the group is not able to travel, it may be possible to transfer the reserved services to another person. An administration fee of 10 USD plus all incurred costs charged by the service providers will be required.

All appropriate refunds will be made directly to your credit card or bank account, minus any fees indicated.

AIR / FLIGHT Cancellations: All air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines.

6: CANCELLATION AND CHANGES BY GET TO PERU

CAN THE ITINERARY BE CHANGED OR THE TRIP CANCELLED?

We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary.

None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price.

We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control. In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or apply this cost to other services (eventual additional cost).

In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour.

7: PRICES

PRICING AND CHILD POLICY INFORMATION

All prices shown on this website are per person and expressed in US Dollars.

For children aged 4 - 9, the package price is based on sharing a room with adults. Prices will be confirmed or advised at the time you book.

Once we receive your deposit, your tour package price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increases will be at our expense.

8: AIRLINES

LIABILITY FOR AIRLINE SERVICES AND FLIGHT BOOKING POLICY

We are acting as your agent only and have no liability or responsibility for the performance of services by the airlines including, but not limited to, accident, death, personal injury, property damage or flight delay.

Flight bookings are totally non-refundable or transferable.

9: ACCOMMODATIONS

ACCOMMODATION POLICY AND CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS

The accommodations are specified in the accommodation section of our website.

We reserve the right to offer an alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation specified on our website is overbooked or for any reason beyond our control. No changes will be made after payment.

Important note: All accommodations within Peru will require you to show your passport and let them make a photocopy of it in order to check you in. This is a requirement for government and taxes purposes.

10: TRAVEL INSURANCE

11: GUESTS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

SPECIAL NEEDS AND ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Certain itineraries may include activities that present challenges that are not suitable for passengers with special needs.

We strongly recommend that guests requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable of, and totally responsible for, providing assistance.

Please let us know if special assistance is required.

12: SPECIAL REQUESTS

SPECIAL REQUESTS POLICY

We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, such as smoking, adjacent or connecting rooms, bed size, dietary needs or any other special request.

13: AGREEMENT

AGREEMENT AND TERMS

These terms and conditions, those contained in the Get To Peru website and the pre-departure materials constitute an agreement between all parties involved.
