For your private adventure to the Sacred Valley, you may start from
Cusco or the Sacred Valley, depending on the location of your hotel. At
the hotel of your choice, your private driver will pick you up and take
you to visit some of the most impressive attractions in the Valley:
Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo. Surrounded by spectacular views and
accompanied by the friendly weather of the Valley, you will visit the
Andean town of Maras, where you will be able to appreciate its
characteristic narrow streets, adobe buildings, churches and fields.
Also in Maras, somewhat away from the town, you will have the chance to
visit its unique salt mines and learn about the process of collecting
the salt, the kinds of salt and the various beneficial properties they
have. You will then visit the circular terraces of Moray, a site where
the Incas used to carry out agricultural experiments and was used to
acclimatize crops to the altitude. After lunch, we will take you to
Ollantaytambo, home of one of the largest archeological complex of the
area. There, you will be able to appreciate its trademark stone streets,
too narrow for cars, adobe buildings and Incan monuments. After the
tour, we will take you back to your hotel.
